May recommend the method we do with my best friend? Just go with what gives you the best vibe at the time. We have seen and discovered hidden gems and still managed to catch most our top wanted artists. We also did a hit and run every now and then when there was a collision. Check out one of them if the vibe hits stay. If not, try the other.

Moving from stage to stage usually isn't to bad. Finding a place in the crowd is entirely your own preference

In the front its more crowded and you'll be closer to the person next to you. I personally prefer to have more space to dance so I stick to the sides and the back

I find it the easiest to move through a crowd when you dance a little. The Liquicity crowd is pretty friendly, so if you dont push to much and say excuse me people will usually move aside to let you pass

2 years ago Yue was one of the early performers in Galaxy, one of the best sets for me during that entire weekend

So don't skip the warmup bc you can find gems

Plus it really means a lot for them to see a crowd. I mean Wilkinson, AMC etc. will always have full house. But for the early performers, every person on the dancefloor is a plus one in their heart. They deserve the love!

For what it’s worth, last year they had a bunch of perfumes in the shower area to use. They all smelled quite nice so if you intend to use the showers, you’ll have access to a decent selection of them. I assume they’ll have them again this year.

That price was just during the presale, Thursday tickets are in "final sale" now so they'll be €29.99 regardless of which weekend ticket you have.

liquid I.V. Is what we shared with @prisma jungle (not the sugar free ones) - flavor is good, sweetened with sugar and stevia. They also make a sugar free one with just stevia, but I haven’t tried that one yet.

LMNT - different ratio of electrolytes than liquid I.V. (Higher sodium, lower potassium, added magnesium [be careful with too much magnesium for tummy reasons]) without added B vitamins. Flavored ones are good, sweetened with stevia. LMNT also has an unflavored one that is just the electrolytes, no sweeteners or flavor (which is nice for people who need a “cleaner” option).

Thank you for the info! I did not bring my own last year so I wasn't really sure what's good/what you should look for in them. I saw LiquidIV recommended in other places too and LMNT was also mentioned. I'll check them out. I don't have any restrictions/preferences on ingredients or sugar, but added vitamins definitely sounds nice

I was able to find Liquid IV at the Kruidvat in Alkmaar, and also at a running store there, so you should be able to just buy it there if you want to worry about one less thing to pack

I have this one. It’s more of a can than packages. But I might prepack it for daily doses. I think this brand sells packages as well, but those are ridiculously expensive compared to the can.

Does anyone have good tips for what kind of food to bring to the festival if bringing food yourself? given the limited means to prepare and store food. I know there are food vendors of course but for those like myself who have more limited means 😅

What me and my friends have done is bringing fruits/veggies which would be okay to lay out in the heat so think apples, cucumbers, paprika/capsicum. Also ready made pancakes can be pretty nice

If I remember correctly in the past it used to be; You can only bring 4L of alchoholy but bring as much soda/non-alcoholy. Now it's you can MAX bring 8L of which 4 can be alcoholy

But to be fair they've switched between that rule before in the past few years. So maybe it was already like this last year

They help you stray hydrated, they're only really important if you sweat a lot

But you can also just eat something sweet/salty

So they're not essential but when you're dancing/sweating a lot it can feel kinda nice to help your body with some extra electrolytes

All Im gonna say is; security checks for sealed bottles. So if you want to bring something make sure the bottle is sealed (and the colour matches)

Oh another tip; bring an empty bottle or a small jerrycan. You can fill it with the free tap water so you don't have to crawl your dehydrated ass over the campsite in the morning in search for some water

At festivals I think people underestimate how important they are tbh. We're probably not eating as regularly as normal and getting the right nutrients, so electrolytes are very necessary.

Especially when you're sweating they will help restore your sodium and potassium levels, which is required for absorbing fluids into your body. Otherwise you can drink a lot of water without actually rehydrating yourself

Oh to all my fellow festival attendees, and this will apply to anybody, if you need immediate electrolytes or some sort of sugar spike in energy, please come find me. I will hopefully have a flag around my Snoozy Pod and my lunchbox hydration pack will have an LED skin said snacks (e.g. Clif BLOKS) and liquid IV. I always have extra at any fest I've been to and it's certainly been helpful for others.
