When they revealed Linkin park was coming to the Netherlands this year (Gelredome in Arnhem) hotels cost 400 euros for 1 night 💀

Hiya guys! Is anyone perhaps traveling (by car 🙏) to this festival from Arnhem/Nijmegen area? I'd love to go to this event and see Culture Shock but staying untill the end of his set makes it impossible for me to go home again 😭. If anyone has tips (Sharing room?) or anything I'd love to hear it!

Gum and candy you might need to hide. Maassilo security is usually pretty chill but if they catch you hiding something they won‘t let you in

Hi Casper, super goede vraag! 😊 Onze crew is de hele nacht hiermee bezig geweest. De plassen en het grondwater worden weggepompt, grote modder vlekken verwijderd en waar mogelijk extra vlonders geplaatst. Er blijft nog wel modder liggen maar gelukkig schijnt de zon en is het stukken droger 🙌 Het plaatsen van houtsnippers is helaas niet mogelijk op dit terrein.

→ You do not need to print your ticket. We can scan it from your phone.

→ This is an 18+ event. Please make sure you bring a valid ID.

→ Lockers are available downstairs for 7,5€ + 5€ deposit you will receive back once you return the key safely at the end of your stay.

→ Doors do not close, you can enter throughout the whole day. In = in, out = out.

→ Meet & greet will take place at the chillout area at 18:30 and 21:00. Check the socials for the schedule 🙂

→ Merchandise will be available in the chillout area until 22:00. Card/contactless payment only.

→ We have two chillout areas! The main chillout, with games & merch, can be found in between room 1 and room 2. The other chillout can be found next to the food stalls.

→ Timetable in the event description & as a post in the event / Instagram Story.

→ Always take care of your ears! Quality reusable earplugs are available at the merchandise stand.

→ Bars only accept tokens which you can buy for 3,80€ each in the basement, next to the lockers (Card/contactless payment only).

→ Food options include fruits & snacks, sandwiches, pasta, fried food & burgers -> vegetarian & vegan options available!

→ Try not to bring any unnecessary items. This will help speed up entry for everyone and save space in your locker / on the dancefloor.

→ Please be mindful that the smoking area is rather small, so only go out there if you are actually smoking. For anything else, please use the chillout areas.

→ Don’t bring any of the following items: drugs, weapons, liquids, deodorants, writing equipment (markers, pens, fineliners, pencils etc.), food, perfumes, spray canisters, stickers, tape, etc.

→ Paid parking is available between 09:00 and 23:00, at €1.72 per hour (zone 240). If the parking lot is full, additional parking is available at Brielselaan and Maashaven OZ, as indicated on traffic signs. Metro D or E to Maashaven. Bikes can be parked around the venue.

I am thinking of going tomorrow but the venue Maassilo sounds really really terrible.

Apparently you have to pay an additional fee to access the toilet?!? (that's besides lockers, drinks, and food since you can't bring your own and the event is all day and you can't leave and re-enter)

Is the situation really like this?

I would not describe the Liquicity Summerfestival 2024 like this. It was quite the opposite!

And the Springfestival is a whole day event

The last time I went to Maassilo was for Winterfest 2023 and yes I was aware of all the stuff you brought up, I still went and had a really good time meeting lots of friends 😄
I also had lunch right before the event so I didn't have to get food inside the venue 🙂

This review, if true, is frightening. Has it been independently verified that these things cannot happen at the Liquicity event? What is the Liquicity team doing to ensure something like this cannot happen?

Ah I just saw your messages in this thread about the €3.80 toilet fee, too bad I didn't see it earlier. Just to clarify: if a venue has a policy to ask visitors money to use the toilets, we pay extra upfront so it is free for everyone. This is the case at Maassilo as well. Hope you had a good time!

What an evening, the Liquicity crowd was notably even more amazing than usual, the artists and sets were great.

Also I think the biggest plus point (well not so big for Liquicity 😦 ) I never saw it was sold out anywhere, and it showed it was never too busy anywhere, but never empty, very minimal wait lines at bars, this was up there for one to the best for me 😁
