the rain on saturday night was like in a movie for me. one of my friends ended up in first aid. was really bad. and then it started pouring snd pouring while we were al panicking for him and all so that was not great timing💀 (in the end everything was alright tho)

Last Summer I made sure to be there around opening time with my friend group of 15+ peeps on the Thursday. We cheated a bit cause we send out @glossy nova with a few tents early to pre-claim a spot on the campsite but we did manage to grab a spot. At the end of the day most spots we're filled and they had to open up extra sections early. Finding a spot for your tent on Friday was an absolute nightmare

Cars are not allowed directly on the campsite, you have to leave it at the parking lot.
There are a few very limited camper tickets that allow you to have your car/camper inside the camping area at a specific location

Tipi is reasonably roomy and weatherproof but in a fixed camping ground. Liquitent you can take home, pitch where you like but it's a bit more cramped and more susceptible to rain. But cheaper. You decide.

I went for the festipi, saves me having to set up and I wouldn't be able to take mine home anyway. I'm on my own so should have plenty of space with my bag.

Also this is my first festival, what's the tips on keeping my stuff safe? I won't be bringing anything valuable really and I'd keep that on me anyway, but do people steal clothes and shit? Heard it happening at some other ones from friends...

I've never had stolen anything from me at festivals.

Not heard of it at Liquicity festival yet but better to be safe than sorry. I know some of my friends are putting small locks on their tents.

I did that and you get the bonus of two sleep mats and two sleeping bags you can put one inside the other and be lovely and cosy. I'd either keep wallet and eg passport with you or rent a locker. But it feels pretty safe.

Good point, I can't either. Maybe they go up later. From memory there were three different sizes and physically they were all in their own little area near the camp shop. Seemed easy to use.

You should not put a lock on your tent ever, that just indicates that you have something valuable in there & the tent will get ripped apart.

If you leave anything in the tent, you should account for the fact it might get stolen, so anything valuable should go to the locker or be on you
