Yep. Not convinced people have been charging fairly. Would be really good to see a breakdown.

i didn't think of incorrect charges when i made the suggestion but more like "i'd like to have a confirmation that i actually spent this much".

unfortunately this suggestion as well as my prices related one could be considered against economical interests of the festival because you're likely to spend more when you don't know how much you're spending.

example: i don't see any other reason why they'd obscure prices in LIQ instead of just using euro, which attendees outside the euro countries will probably have to exchange anyway.

it's the same tactic in video games (especially mobile games). exchange €/$ etc. into gems/coins/diamonds and then spend those. sometimes even with an additional obscuring layer of currency.

but i think the festival should value transparency, honesty, and customer satisfaction higher and make pricing and purchase history fully transparent.

Can confirm, had a staff member almost charge me 3.5 liq for a glass of wine (1.5 normally), was also rude about it when I pointed out the sign that SAID THE PRICE

Might have something to do with laws regarding money and deposits. Especially for people from outside NL who might get charges added for every purchase making a single deposit makes sense also for price predictability
