I like to sit on Google Maps and look at unique local restaurants, parks, events, and "fun activity" type of things for a city/area I'm interested in, whether it's the US or Netherlands or anywhere else. I end up adding a lot of things to my bucket list and then if I ever have plans out to that area I have lots of ideas already picked out.

I think a lot of the times you think of just National Parks or major parks like Disney Land/World when you think of taking a trip to the US, but there's a lot of other cool things you can look into based on what state/city you're in. Like the state I'm in (Tennessee) has a lot of adventure parks (ziplining down mountains and - my personal favorite - rope courses); there's a gravity park where you do various courses on a hill in a giant see-through ball; there's a lookout tower that is surrounded by a fairy garden and lots of unique eating spots; a free-entry amusement park with an arcade, escape room, laser tag, lots of food (from BBQ to Southern to gourmet popcorn to a german fast food that has yummy Bratwursts). Another thing I've found a lot of is Air/Tramopline Parks in both California and Tennessee of all varieties that are giant indoor trampolines with a bunch of activities. I'm already word vomiting so I won't even get into all the unique food spots in Nashville I've found

Tl;dr if you're ever in the mood to be adventurous online, pull up Google Maps or some lists (I prefer Maps because I feel like articles don't always cover the wider variety of options) and save various places in any countries/cities you'd love to visit one day. It gives you so many ideas and you find some really unique spots just diving in for an hour or two. I've discovered things I've never thought of before in my area that I've found in other places too.

I LOVE solo travel! So relaxing, so free, no one to hold me back, and no one for me to hold back

I like trips with friends as well, but since my trip to norway last year, I'm planning things for myself rather than asking around if anyone wants to go anywhere. 9/10 times they'll say yes but no plan will ever come up, much less actually happen

I go on trips to experience things because I want to experience them, not because I want to experience it WITH someone else, although sometimes I think it would be nice to do that as well

You can’t lose your wristband because it cannot be taken off, and this new cashless system is faster and easier to use (especially for online top-ups).
Does this mean security will tighten it and it's impossible to remove non-destructively?

I ask because with previous editions I've taken my wristband off as soon as I entered.
I have autism and my brain absolutely freaks out about wristbands/jewelry/necklace etc.

They will tighten it enough so that you can't slip it off your wrist. I think it's just the usual festival band plastic cap that they slide over it.
If the question is: "Can my friend go buy a drink for me?" the answer is no, not without your wristbband.
This is a downside compared to cards, but if it's your friends you can just buy the next round. Or top up their wristband

I don't imagine it's any different than last year as the bands are the same, just with chips on them for the cashless system. I'm not sure how they will handle it if you're not wearing it so I would definitely contact them directly using the website to ask if it's still viable when not on your wrist. Otherwise I would just be concerned about losing it so make sure you keep it in a safe spot.
