The ball pushes on your car when you flip reset. Mainly because due to "fake physics" the wheels don't do anything at all to the ball while the suspension magically slows the car down mid-air, encountering the ball as an "immoveable" object.

So, basically, you'll want to predict this "push" effect as you land to feel where your car goes, and only let the car be slightly under and behind the ball, in a position to hit it as it falls into your flip after the flip reset.

In these 2 clips, your flip reset bounces you "down" from the ball slightly, but not "back" since you're right beneath it. You landed beneath with momentum going sideways, bounced off sideways, and had to flip diagonally to recover and hit it awkwardly.

gamesense wise, that shot was very risky when you fast aerialed up to the ball the tm8 was still infront of you, so unless you never miss the ball, if you missed that it would have been a free open goal for the opp

further more, it was also good that you were patient and waited for the open net instead of just joining the cluster in the corner

mech wise, you are far superior when it comes to aerials and air roll. Most plats just pretend to know how to air roll when in reality they're just holding air roll. However, you were able to utilise the air roll mech to your advantage and score that double tap. THe fact that you knew that your opp was near you and you had to make a decision was pretty good id say
