If u win u automatically get higher right, around gold 1 to 3
If u win again u get another 100,if u start losing ur lose 50 then like 30 then like 15 then ur at 8,but if u keep winning you keep getting like 100 untill you start losing or dont mvp then u also go down in mmr gained like losing (explained above)
If you have a massive streak, you start gaining more and more mmr (usually between gold and diamond) untill you lose again
If u placed a ranked lower than previous seasons, and start winning you also start getting more and more mmr till you lose again

This way btw is to help moderate smurfing and other situations with placing lower or peaking

the bonus mmr u gain is only from people retuning from ranked and new players, also at the start of season but only like 20 mmr max and for only like the 10 games of placement, there is no such thing for bonus mmr gain for win streaks or mvp, i can say that for certain as ive had multiple win streaks in the past week and never gained more than 8-10 mmr which is normal, no mater if i mvp'ed or not
