Well diamond players will usually make a lot more subtle mistakes like pushing up too far or giving you possession of the ball over and over so i would say to capitalize on those. Practice being able to hit the ball from uncomfortable spots and then you can be more confident being aggressive with aerials and such. I've been hard stuck c2 for a long time so I'm not super great at advice, my game sense is decent but my mechs are not besides aerials so I'm proof you don't need crazy mechs to be this rank

I'd say you're playing the ball too far towards the goal. Try playing the ball higher up the pitch so you get more control and can dribble properly. Otherwise, you don't have much control.
