Focus on not over committing and always having enough boost to recover

Air mechs are an all in mechanic in 1s, most of the time you either score or get scored on. So unless your mechanics are flawless, I wouldn’t focus on air mechs. Using ground play makes it really easy to not over commit and be able to stay in position
