Any tips on speed flip? (Ignore that i'm bad, i started 2 weeks ago)

I'm landing sideways alot and idek if it's a speed flip or sideflip 😭

I think you just need to work on the cancel and where your joystick is positioned. It'll just be practice and all that. None of those were full speed flips but some of them had the ideas in there. Most of the flips were diagonal, not side flips, YIPPEE! I may be wrong, but I think it'll be mainly about getting the execution of the flip cancel now. I'm not sure if you were but once you get comfortable with the cancel I'd also add that little bit of air roll.

If you do just want to practice the flip cancel, here is what it should look like. As you can see it's not a full turn, which is why you need to air roll a bit at the end, I'd practice the cancel first, and then move on to the recovery.

that gets a lot of people, because if you don't pause you have slight air time as the pack resets itself

and you cannot reach the ball if you just hold drive and boost through the reset, no matter how well you speed flip

Try doing a slight tap in the other direction before you flip, that may be it. If you watch, I do a slight right tap at the start to cancel out the momentum of my left speed flip.

if that doesn't work it may just be that you haven't got the cancel fully figured out
