Honestly directional air roll is so confusing, I have right bound but just only use it for half flips and speed flips. I can do a standard air dribble I just personally get pre jumped often so I’ve just been practicing different ways to shoot off wall with less/more time etc if that makes sense?

Flipping off the wall is good for fast shots and double taps, a lot harder for controlling air dribbles.
A well set up first touch will let you control the ball better to evade defenders

Also yeah directional will take a long time to get comfortable with. Been practicing it for ages (sincerely, months and months and months) and am only recently feeling like I have a grasp on it

Yee Gotcha, I’ve just been using and practicing with free air roll for years now, just hard to implement when I play not half bad without it

For sure. Try learning dir air roll and tornado spins as separate concepts and shift to using them for aerials, you'll start using free air roll for stuff like recoveries, air roll shots, air dribble setups etc

After a while, they'll both make sense in different ways and you'll ne using both in no time

Also dir air roll on a trigger with progressive input was a game changer for me personally

reset example, depends exactly what type of reset you want, but for one like this, i personally like a soft touch, then follow it up with the reset but usually i do a bit under that 45 degree mark on the ball
