GC isn’t purely speed, it’s a part of it but not fully. Pretty damn good tho, your mechanics are good, can’t really see rotations because the clips too short but definitely capable of GC if ur mechs are consistently that good and ur rotations + boost management is good

yeah the biggest thing between lower ranks and even in diffrent levels in ssl is boost control cus if u can consistently put pressure u will out boost your opponent and its a free goal

I've noticed that with the change I just did, most of the time I'm faster and I can steal boost without losing position

and since it's still not a high rank they panic

and once u get higher in gc i didnt really notice it that much in gc1 but ik it becomes more common as u get higher is thinking of the defence not as 1 but as 2 layers of defence

cus if u can position your self in a spot to where even if your teamate misses you will be that second layer of defence

thats one of the biggest peices of advice that helped me around gc2 gc3

yeah like if u watch a pro play open rlcs quals against gcs and people of that sort thats the easiest and most effective way of controlling the game, and if u control the game u set up the plays, play high and its a free goal

like pros can 1v4 gcs just cus of their boost control, and speed and even with that many players on the field they still controll the pase of the game cus they controll the boost
