you can get a reset no matter the way the ball is traveling you just have to be going in the opposite direction of the ball kinda or approach it with speed depending on how the you car is going to the ball
if the ball is in a slow state mid air try and force into it
if its coming down dont bother moving your car too much just let it fall into you
anf if its going up you can either speed up to it and then flip reset or wait for it to drop

yeah if you are directly flying at the ball you dont need to waste time adjusting and can directly adjust your car for the final perfect touch, but people just air roll for fun even when its not needed which ruins their touches

Well, I'm still learning myself but one thing I learned is that the setup is the hardest part. Its good to get some good height on the ball so you have time to finish. Also I'm not at my pc rn so ill get those settings to ya at some point.
