There’s a difference between practicing for an hour to hit a difficult shot,

and hitting a semi difficult shot on command.

The latter is more difficult even if technically independently speaking the more difficult shot is more difficult. That is made irrelevant due to continuous practice and trying until success, whereas the first shot that I did was done on the first try.
