been practicing my flip reset mustys recently, only just learnt it a few weeks ago and all these clips are on a new controller i just got (i went from 10+ years of xbox controllers to a PS5 controller I just bought). All clips on new controller, but haven't changed my steam input profile so ballcam button still has Xbox buttons on it

touch it 1 time between the reset and musty and then u have to have some speed + dont take the reset like that

it helps when your car has more speed to begin with, but if you dont have a high velocity already it helps to actually "flick" the ball. In this clip you kinda flipped into it and just smacked the ball, if you get what I mean?
Check my clip here, if you do the flip whilst your car is basically already touching the ball, you get much more contact/little hits on the ball as you flick around and it gets way more speed from it

yeah i struggled with that originally too, I felt like I couldnt flip my car right side up again quick enough to then get the musty. I just practiced loads to get my speed up a bit. I'm not sure I have many tips for getting the positioning correct unfortunately :c
I found just practicing loads helped on that, and with that came speed too. I think it helps that I could already flip reset relatively consistently before trying to learn the reset musty

obviously a good setup helps, the closer you can get the reset to the ceiling basically helps
because more time to adjust position after for the flip
but its just one of those things that you'll improve with time, even if you cant hit them really at all now, or not good ones, just keep at it for a while and you will definitely improve (even if it isn't direct improvement). Like even if you still cant hit them after 2 hours of practice, your positioning and setups will probably improve drastically at least
So you would be making progress still, even if it doesn't result in a nice shot in the end

I am also kbm
it's just a diag flip
2nd to last flip was rapid. kb overlay top left
if you hit the ball away you probably aren't canceling the end of the flip
and if you fly away from the ball (on the underside) either boost less through the flip or flip a bit sooner so you hit the back quarter of the ball and don't fly in front of it or a bit of both
on kbm you can also do 18 degree flips (if you have 4+ key rollover) if you press same side dar and airsteer + w/s for tighter diag flips
