Acting like a match at the world championship isn't a display of the best there is, is rather reductive of the whole concept

If anything, the fact that a team that's proven itself to be good enough to take an lcq spot can be eliminated on the spot if they aren't fully on it, regardless of opponents, speaks volumes on how close it is at the top

When talking about accolades across time and especially formats, you need to do it relative to the competition at the time, not all time

The old dig roster has the status it does because they managed to stay consistent despite a format that heavily punished any mistakes, especially at worlds

But at the same time one could argue that if they were so much better than everybody else, they had less chances to lose and thus it was easier to maintain

So, Kameto (Karmine Corp's CEO) clarified the situation during a Twitch stream:

After the first major, KC and Dralii's agency (Prodigy Agency) reached a verbal agreement (as well as an email confirming this agreement) for a two-year contract extension
At the time of signing, KC received a call from the agency telling them that Dralii could not sign after all, without giving a reason (KC quickly realized that other clubs had approached Dralii)
Some time later, KC learned that the agency had accepted an offer from Falcons, without notifying anyone and in breach of the extension agreement
Although KC has proof of this agreement (the email), the club will not take legal action against the agency or the player so as not to damage his future career

right, my apologies for a start i confused apac with ssa, however the SSA spot needs to be looked at, FUT with a 52 point gap lead over 2nd place limitless is shocking with half of teams also not even being from the region is a joke, you can argue that there are others ways to deal with it such as the 2/3 rule which i think is totally a good thing but for limitless a team with players only from that region to be smoked by mid european players says a whole lot about the skill gap and that a team from that region will never make it further than play-ins at tournaments when a 3rd mena team for example could go wayyyy further

i believe why waste time and money too give a region full of teir 2 pros not even from the region when EU needs another spot for sure and MENA

this isnt making it fair for the whole world too compete this is giving pros who cant make it in their own region a chance too snatch money off someone who does deserve it like a 3rd mena team or a EU team that missed out ever so slightly
