I should be GC1 because I almost beat John 24–2 and completely controlled the whole match like he was lost the entire time.
I was hitting almost speedflip kickoffs every time and if I cleaned up a bit I would’ve hard-stomped a GC2 like it was nothing.

But he literally did flip resets which take no skill and that why i lost

yes it is faster. you can boost while half flipping to get super sonic, where as your method keeps you in the air longer (which means less control) and spend most the time turning instead of boosting
