i would help u in game but cant rn so im going to try to explain over here so basiclly im going to explain airroll rigth cuz thats more common so 1. bind u air roll rigth to a bumper of ur choice 2. ur going go to free play and jump hold ur airroll and drag ur steering stick towards the left to make a tornado spin 3. and nowim going to explain the controlls so airroll+ stick to left is going up airroll+stick to rigth is down ward and then taking ur stick up and down makes ur car rotate to the left or rigth (forgot if what does what) but to know that jump and airroll+ plus stick downwards will make ur car for the first half of the 360 degrees trun go left or rigth. and to fly straigth with airroll move ur stick in a circle while holding airroll important thing tho is to rotate ur stick in a circle to the rigth way depends for wich airroll ur using so im using airroll left but for airroll rigth ur gonna make ur stick goin a circle to the left while airrolling rigth

My #1 tip to literally everyone is to stop blaming teammates. The truth is that they aren’t holding you back, you will get unlucky with teammates at times, but overall you, your opponents and your teammates are all of similar skill.

To really improve, you have to start focusing on yourself, finding your own mistakes. Blaming your losses on things you can’t control will hold you back massively

Put your tm8 in good positions, try to never leave him back alone, and if he’s a chaser, let him do his thing.

Hey, quick question about improving aerial play.

I’m at a point where my ground game feels solid (dribbles, flicks, general control), so I want to start focusing more on actual aerial mechanics like air dribbles (ground/wall), ceiling shots, etc.

My issue is with air roll. I can use it for recoveries and some adjustments, but I don’t have that constant, controlled air roll you see in clips where players are spinning the whole time (like in rings maps).

Do you think it’s worth grinding constant air roll control first (learning to fly while always spinning), or should I just focus on learning aerial mechanics and incorporate air roll naturally as needed?

i mostly play 1s which is why i'm so ground focused, i play some 2s on occasion but mostly wanna add aerial plays to my 1s skills

You can grind rings maps just holding down air roll the entire time just to get the control down, but that can absolutely build bad habits. Ideally you use air roll very minimally and only use it for slight adjustments, imo it’s up to you how you want to learn it. By just holding down air roll and going through a rings map you’ll learn the control much faster but you may have to fix that bad habit later on.

yea focus on ground to air and setting up your wall play from fast dribbles (using your flip or just catching the ball with a hard touch towards wall).
for air roll, learn how to use it for takeoff until you can line up yourself well when goinginto the air.

So you know how if you want to go up but you are facing too far down or whatever and you boost, you go at an angle, you want your boost to be sending you straight up so it isnt correcting horizontal movement, with the goal of reaching ceiling at 33 boost
