To go a little more in-depth. Ballchasing in 1s is good, unless u're doing it without a brain and simply chasing for the sake of it. You need to understand when u're able to get boost, when u should give some space, etc. I'd recommend watching high-level 1s to see what I mean

tbh at diamond focus on being speedy, speed flips wave dash, and not wasting all your boost and more oftern than not you'll just be quicker at getting to the ball then your opponents which will lead to more open nets than usual
