you need to either use your right stick to move camera or watch their name tag, so that you can flip later, speed flipping gives you first touch and control, if they mean to get there second then you can look at them, and 50 accordingly

basically delay your flip at the end of the speed flip ko and flip when you meet them, keep a larger surface on the car and your momentum will usually carry the ball to their side

all pros and high level players have similar settings, some change it by one or two clicks but all really close, try one and get used to it, then you can change them a little if you want

its more important you keep your boost up and position yourself to almost always be between your net and the ball, keep that habit and you will have more opportunities to attack

also when you lose the ball, think of how you can lose the ball but still turn around and again be between your net and the ball
