@obsidian ermine I was in diamond as well not too long ago, my biggest tip to escape is don’t push it, don’t challenge leaving your tm8 in a 1v1/1v2, back post defense, simple angled and air roll shots with power. You get all these at least decent your c1 easy

MY best advice is to take my settings, or pick any pro players you like and copy their settings, DO NOT come up with your own settings.
It will ruin you.

if you do end up doing ur own settings just try to use pro settings as a template, and dont stray from it, but little tweaks like swivel speed and transition speed should be set to your own preference

your a and d keys shouldnt be moving your car that much if youre micro tapping them

if your camera is moving too much you need to be pressing your keys more lightly

and for the part about keeping it on top of your car, just try to look at the circle that the ball creates under it as a sort of shadow, and do your best to keep your car in said circle. but i bet most of your issues come from tapping your keys too heavily

adding: practice carrying the ball without using breaks! Then it starts bouncing, and ull lose controll! 🙂

just practice more. try normal aerials, fast aerials, get them reps in
