Dont boost too much toward the ceiling so u land at almost same time as ball just a bit before, then fall down and boost a bit upward to match speed and heigh with ball, while doing that ul have to position over the ball and rotate ur nose towards it, then boost down and flip at the right time

If the games are okay, and i get some team mates that i enjoyed playing with, i offer to party up, as you got to adapt to each other a bit in the match. If my head and focus is gone for the day and i play badly, i just turn it off and try tomorrow

My recommendation would be to start with a training pack that rolls the ball up the wall for you. Get comfortable with hitting the ball while it’s still traveling up, and then making sure you’re not traveling too fast when you make contact. Then when you feel good with that I’d try to move to freeplay to get more variety.

hey guys , I just switched to kbm , i used to play on controller (plat) but now i have switched to kbm , anyway can someone tell me if my keybinds are good , since i have a normal mouse and no thumb buttons i made some changes.

most of the stuff is default but i changed DAR to left and right mouse button because i thought that it would be used the most in air ones i get a hang of it and not being able to press wasd with them would be a downside as earlier they were q and e.

so i switched jump to spacebar , boost to left shift , power slide to c , ballcam to caps.

So I am a Champ 2, who uses free air roll, and I am trying to now learn air roll left since its basically necessary to get any further mechanically, and I am just playing rings maps over and over, and all these videos are telling me I should be able to fully go left or right only using the right side of the joystick, but I have been only moving the joystick when the hood of my car is facing me, and both diagnol up right, and diagnol down right, seem to just move my car to the right, and I have to move it to the left side to go left, am I doing something wrong, like do pros constantly move and not just on the hood facing up timing? thanks.

Constantly play the rank training maps practice the ones right above your rank every day before playing games so if your gold play the plat practice maps thats what i did it gets you mechanically better and by the time you hit that rank your more consistent then the others in that said rank, then in free play js practice the excessive mechanics to get use to the feeling, and js play slow and smart lower ranks js ball chase

guys i am new to rocket league , i copied camera setting from youtube , can someone tell me what changes to make in keybind .

i dont have gaming mouse so only 2 buttons on my mouse.

Q airroll left.
E Airroll Right.
Scrollclick rear view.
If you have sidebuttons on the mouse, you want looking left and right.
But the most important thing is looking down! 🙂

i dont have mouse with side buttons though , i can try putting camera down and left and right near shift , maybe caps for camera back for example . in most of the games the jump is spacebar i am kinda used to it.

btw i was thinking if insted of mouse i should the right side of my keyboard for stuff

my friend is GC1-2 and he play kbkb instead of kbm

using the righthandside arrows!

altl, x and c can be used for look to the sides!

boost / jump on arrow left and right.
rear view and looking down on arrow up and down.

i was thinking , keeping jump as space , left shift as boost , y for left airroll , i for right airroll , u for powerslide and airroll , then i can keep b for ballcamp , n for rear view , m for right and v for left view.

this kinda makes it so that i can use airroll and direction together cuz it uses different hands.
rest default.

what do you think.

there is almost no research on the matter for keyboard players, but everyone i know uses space for camera toggling!

its good if you can devide mechanics to both hands! 🙂

nah i will use wasd , boost and jump with left

and power slide , directional and normal airroll , and all camera stuff with right.

its just that most of the games i played had me used shift , space and wasd so my left hand is used to them kinda like muscle memory.

i guess now i just gotta get used to the game and learn stuff.

then i suggest you move from the arrows to IJKL buttons

because you will need alot more than just 4 buttons with that setup!

i dont get it why is tht though like every finger of left hand is getting 1 button exept the middle finger which needs to control both w and s.

as for right hand index finger of y , middle of u , rght on i , pinky on p for ball camp and thumb for the down , left , right camera

midle for forward nad reverse : w and s
ring for right : d
thumb for jump : space
pinky for boost: shift

right hand :
index for left airroll : y

nah i dont even know airroll right now , i just downloaded rocket league yesterday but its will be better to have a button already assigned for it so i dont have to change my keybinds in middle of the journey i guess
