air dribble bumps are reliable but when you dont have to worry about the ball i promise its 1000 times easier, ESPECIALLY when the ball is literally heatseeking into the net

its like an air dribble bump without having to worry about guiding the ball in, plus its going at like 150kph

almost everyone uses directional air roll almost exclusively for aerial mechanics, and only use the free air roll for recoveries + ground and shooting. but if you are not yet good in the air, it could be easier to use free air roll for simple things like turning your car after jumping off the wall to air dribble. in the meantime practice flying around a lot in freeplay or elsewhere holding directional air roll and you will eventually have it down

you can use any bind for it as long as you can comfortably hold it while: boosting, jumping, and toggling ball cam. if there was a best bind for it, it would be L2/LT/trigger, since it allows you to control the speed of the air roll. but it's a very small advantage, so it doesn't really matter.

mechanics u should learn: half-flip, wavedash, EVENTUALLY when you get comfortable with this then speed flip, youtubers are definitely "Wayton Pilkin" and "Squishy Muffinz"

for later (champ-ssl) its pretty much a must have, overall being good at air rolling is very helpful

in that case its not the ping, ping is just how long it takes for your client (pc) to communicate with the server, what youre experiencing is packet loss which means the server is communicating very fast with your game, but there is bits of data missing, that the server has to fill up and send to your client (which takes time) so thats why its laggy cuz your client tries to predict what happened, but its pretty much impossible

well, thats a mechanic, i was mostly thinking about gamesense but for air dribbles most important thing is the setup, make sure to brake just a tiny bit before impact so that the ball will not hit the ceiling, and try to stop boosting just before you hit the ball in the air, also its good to get the first hits while the ball is still going up so you dont get recoiled

cant really help you with this man, this is an individual issue and it probably has to do with your internet service provider or your network being overloaded

also @icy kettle make sure to not do training packs, cuz they have perfect setups, try to do it yourself in freeplay this way you learn real setups that will happen in game

well, it depends what your comfortable with, its always good to have both bound, but master one, air rolling is good but i would only do slight adjustments in your case because youre plat and you dont have such mecanical abilities yet, youll do air roll dribbles later on

of course bro, good luck learning them, but be aware that a single mechanic wont get you out of your rank, especially in plat the simplest things are the most important to win like getting power on the ball consistantly, dribbling, flicking, but if youre learning it for fun then go for it man, not everything has to be optimized, just thought id say this
