Hey, im gold and curious what I should be working on. I've been trying air dribble, flicks, ect. but I wanna know if Im wasting my time on those rn?

and feed back on what I should focus on training would be greatly appreciated

The biggest part is the set up, if u can do that right u just have to correct yourself with air roll and tap boost a bit (not too much otherweise u push the ball away)

Personally i would focus on powershots, basics of arials, simple mechanics like wave dashes. For gamesense try not to chase behind the ball too much and rather stay a bit more defensive. Air dribble is a bit too early, unless u are consistent with arials, which i doubt.

yeah wouldnt rather focus on that first, will also make it easier afterwards if u learn how to air dribble

honestly that one is gonna come with time and experience but you can learn faster than others by actively making an effort to try and read it

the car turns at wider angles at faster speeds and tighter angles at slower speeds

powerslide is useful but i do get that it can be hard to control so thats a good one to keep in mind

but honestly i would reccomend going into freeplay and learning how to control sliding better

overall, try facing the play instead of facing 180 degrees away from it so u can reach the ball quicker and turn towards any outcome efficiently.
don't forget to keep your car goalside enough most of the game and don't lose this goalside positioning with stupid touches/challenges/reads...

if you want more coverage, u can get more boost and speed up (without losing control).
killing your momentum can harm your coverage so watch out for what makes you use your brakes and stuff...
