if you're silver, learn how to drive into the ball, literally simple as that, if you're gold try to learn BASIC positioning, and hitting the ball with more consistency (not accuracy, literally just touching the ball) and work on getting a little power behind your hits, and maybe getting TINY arial defence, at plat you start working on arials more, power shots, and maybe add in like half flip or wave dash, if you actually wanna be good at the game learn how to actually play the game, quit tryna be "mechy"

thats the best advice I can give you

you can get very good on super basic mechanics, you HAVE to learn the base game, just literally play the game, dont do unnecessary crap

either you just returned to the game from a long break, you arent actually silver, or you're just not telling the full truth in your play style, that or you're an older person with poor reaction time, it really is as simple as that. if you actually try to just play the game at its super basic core level, you can get to gold VERY easily, then add basic arials and you're plat, and im talking basic arials

people see someone do a mechanic and think that person is insanely good at the game, but yet you're the same rank as them for a reason, they suck in the main core aspects of the game

Well it’s just different depending on the car since a dominos setup is a little different than a fennec one for example

I feel as though my accuracy is pretty good still, just gotta work on rotations, which can be a little tough when my buddy is new to the game and gold/low plat, so I gotta balance being in a good position know he might whiff with being in an actually good position and if he whiffs its whatever, he learns
and I've noticed arials are slightly worse, but nothing crazy, and dribbling took a big drop, I can dribble "fine" but dribbling maps really shed light on my lost skill in it

if you are not the one, then get a bit closer but without leaving your net open.

try to protect the central areas near your net
and don't go too much to the sides or corners for no reason.

if you see ppl going for the ball, u better stay away and let the ball come to u in case someone shoots it towards ur net.

use boost wisely, don't hold it to go fast then kill your momentum again without doing anything (this is a waste of boost).

Actually queuing and playing high C3 with someone you just met is easier than solo queue c2. No comms, you play with them for more than one game, you actually learn their playstyle. It's so much easier than solo queue! mid C2, high C1. I don't know why it's easier. The only reason I'm not C3 is because of my speed and my lack of commitment, I think. I think if I stopped being scared and I just made my decision, I'll go up, but in c2 matches, it's hard to really, like, flip that switch, because usually you're just being forced to be back, but C3, they stop doing that, like, just horrible commits. So much different. A lot of these compared to C3. Like, C2, C3 instantly switched. C2, it's your teammate who will always want to be on the ball, and you're always forced to play second man. C3 is everyone's rotating, maybe not perfectly, but they are, and you can't just have one person on the ball. You can, but they have to be a lot better than the rank they're in. And I think once I learn how to stop being scared and just understand that with the hours I've put into mechanics, that my mechanics are scarier than theirs, and I should trust my mechanics. I shouldn't be overconfident, but I should trust in my simple mechanics.
