It just comes down to actually playing more, you know the issue, you just hesitate. You gotta be confident in your decision and go for it, don't care about getting scored on or whiffing, practicing not hesitating will automatically teach you what to and what not to go for

So like power shots? I'd say just head to freeplay and boom the ball around hitting it as fast as you can, without slowing yourself down, or try doing a training pack for power shots, if you're on pc use the cocos aim trainer map

Feathering your boost is tapping boost when you need it. You arent just holding down boost, you’re using boost with a goal in mind. When you use boost, you’re trying to get a touch on the ball by pushing yourself further with boost. And to get a touch on the ball, you boost forward into the ball. In the case for controlled soft touches for air dribbles, a lot of the time your first touch on the ball is using boost to move towards the ball and then immediately let go so when you touch the ball, you arent boosting, getting a softer touch and keeping it close to you. Then you feather the boost to keep it controlled close to you by pushing it slightly but not pushing it too far it goes further away from you. For more in depth you really just gotta internally know how the physics of the game works, basic physics calls for that gravity will pull the ball downwards when falling, so if you bump into the opposite direction, it will obviously pop further. For more controlled touches, do keep in mind that if you’re trying to air dribble or push the ball upwards more controlled, jump or boost up when the ball is still going upwards so you’re going at the same momentum and direction of the ball.
