I’m super sonic plat and I believe the most important skill to learn are in this order number 1-ball chase number 2 steal teammates boost number 3 bump teammates out of position number 4-always hit the ball even if it means own goaling

Gamesense is good to some extent.
Corners, dblcommits and such, but deep understanding is not as important as getting rid of frontpost defense, not dblcommiting and such.
However, i often put ppl on ballcarrytraining and directional airroll training, flicks, untill they reach Dia1, implement 45Flick.
Understanding of rotations gets valid at C1.
C1-C3 is consistency training.
GC is where the deeper thoughts off gamesense starts to matter.
But it the skill itsself you can survive on only skill up to 2k.
However C1 is recommended to get into gamesense.

the game in it self is completely different in low ranks compared to high ranks.
if im spending my time learning that my opponent is gonna whiff this ball so i might aswell move up and score the open, when i play against a higher ranked player im gonna be baffled by my own overcommit cuz the opponent is in fact not bad anymore.
learning gamesense from low ranked lobbies is just building bad habbits whilst getting better control of your car and the ball, will always be something that will help you no matter what rank.

When talking about bronzes? Pro mechanics. As I said though my take is from gold and up and I believe that a gold or platinum with pro gamesense can get further if they know how to use whatever they have from mechanics efficiently(which they probably will since they will have pro gamesense)

If you only have 1k hours to play, and then lets say you wont ever play the game anymore, you are on your first hours, and ull try to get as good as possible, then id put yyou to mech training most times.
Because each rank has teachings that you later will need to throw away, and by focusing mechs first, ull bypass several ranks, and there will be no need for major rewiring of your gameplay.

don't worry about some training pack or green that's not how any top player has learned speedflip. just flip closer to front flip, cancel it on the same side, air roll the same way you are flipping the entire time, and move the stick naturally to microcorrect. make sure you are tapping both jumps to flip as fast as possible and cancelling as fast as possible, that's it. speed comes with time and muscle memory not microanalysing

the reason why is because you are hitting the ball on the side hitting it away rather than hitting underneath the ball to keep it up. if you hit directly under it will hit the ball up instead of forwards so you can keep close. disregard comments about boost. you should hit it up and with power, then feather your boost until it reaches the top of it's arc to stay below, so you have space to boost again and hit it again.

that's how pros do it rather than 'glue' or pushing the ball, so you can transition to flip reset double tap or etc, and avoid being 50'd in the air. then if you wish to continue the air dribble, simply match the speed of the ball and carry it. to get it right you need to setup so you are hitting it more straight up, low on the wall so it is high above you. go slower and brake as you are hitting the ball, or do normal hit and stop entirely on the wall for a bit after before jumping. don't drive up stay low on wall exactly where you hit it, the ball should be high above you giving yourself space and time to gain speed and adjust.

Training packs are different. Training pack detects you're holding drive and it starts the timer, hold your boost before anything else and if you're doing a correct speed flip you should be able to hit the ball
