On diagonal kickoffs, how do you use the speedflip properly? I find myself executing the flip correctly but landing to close to the ball and hitting it below the center most of the time. I usually try to flip twice into the ball on these kickoffs since it works on the others but executing on the diagonal kickoffs is a bit challenging. Any tips? How do pros execute the diagonal speedflip kickoff?

Im 2s get a duo that you synergize with and make sure both of yall know what rotating is. In 1s(also 2s) try not to toss possession like youre playing tennis. Capitalize on your opponents mistakes. Learn basic recovery mechs like half flips and wave dashes. Speed flips if you want to but definitely not necessary yet. Try to learn game sense before fancy mechanics

With missing the hit that's really just practicing nothing much I can help you on with that. If being bumped/demo chased just jump if you can see them trying it. Also look behind you if an opponent is behind you bc they might demo you there. Dont go for boost on kickoff. Conserve boost and unless youre able to dont go out of youre way to get the boost that gives 100 if it makes you out of the play. Hope this helps

with speedflips you want to cancel the flip on the same side, for example top right (maybe like 1 o clock) then bottom right - then i snap the stick to the bottom left and return it to middle. and you will want to hold air roll the same way as the flip (right flip = air roll right) the entire time basically as you input the flip. You just have to do all of this really really fast, especially the two presses of jump for the flip and the cancel itself. At first it will be too slow or look goofy, then you will refine it and get faster.
For air dribbles first start by flying around a bunch (either with or without air roll depending on level) to get comfortable controlling the car. The beginner style is to hit the ball off the wall towards goal, then jumping off for a hit or two following behind it. The better version is when you hit it more straight up, then hit the ball with power from underneath. The setup matters the most, make sure you roll the ball slowly, brake to create space. Once you are approaching the ball, boost and hit it low on the wall as possible where it's still flat, brake again hard before jumping. The higher the ball is but less far away from you the better, as you can gain speed to it and hit it from below keeping it up.

It depends on the level but generally you want to shadow and try to cut it while your teammate rotates back, but make sure that if they can accelerate the ball you are boosting away. Lower rank will stay too close where they can easily get it past them. If you are the one on the rotate, just go backpost if possible and don't cheat up closer to the play or corners. If both are near the net, whoever is nearpost should guard high or backboard - whoever is backpost should guard low. Try to watch opponents cars to see their body language and better predict the shot or play. Don't ever panic jump or flip, just watch and do your best if you are in the better position, if not trust the team.

The farther you are from the ball the better you can react to their shot or play as last man. Come in from far back near the wall.

If you are more high level, prejumping or off backwall/ceiling then just float and play ball block forcing them low or high instead of fast aerialing straight to it.

only if youre doing a front flip while holding airroll though. I do diagonal flip to opposite side of normal (hold airroll left and push joystick up+right) which results in the 'green' zone with speedfliptrianer plugin. So my question would remain: outside of flip angle (which you solve with inversion), will holding airroll be negative in any way?

I am guessing 2s? Just practice all the fundamentals with workshops if you can and/or freeplay. Aswell as play some 1s before playing 2s.
