i started the game this season and i just hit plat what kinda mechanics should i try to learn, i play kbm

i get the concept of air dribbling but when i pop the ball up i usually jump above it and it annoying

uhhhh 24 in a game

idkkkk abt freeplay i would assume around 30 total

no 30 hours in the game

on the rl profile stats page it says i have 28 hours total in that, and i started like mid december so i would asssume i have around 5-10 hours on freeplay

is there a way to see your playtime in every mode?

usually i see a lot of autopilot. try to more deliberately outplay opponents instead of just trying to move the ball forwards. wait and just get it past them, back pass more. try to watch the opponents car instead of the ball. some mechanics which are very good but you don’t see a lot are air dribbles from ground, preflips in the air or better clears from backwall

it’s hard to give tips for an entire rank as everyone has different weaknesses and strengths

the players have mechanics but they are slow or inconsistent with executing them. it’s completely fine because most of the time it’s not threatening. in defense if you are near post you should go backwall, if you are far post you should try to challenge or play low

in champion there are just a variety of playstyles. if you are against opponents which are chasing, you need to simply chase faster and beat them to the ball when they have no business going. if your opponents are very passive, you need to create more threatening shots with the space they give you and not pass it to them with weak shots or clears.

try to be more impactful off ball like going for bumps/demos, stealing boost etc.

make your rotations more clear for your team by flipping out quickly and avoid bad habits like creeping up from a good position. don’t ever hesitate always go or don’t go at an instance then think after if it was good. if you play more deliberately making fast clear decisions and don’t hesitate awkwardly your teammate will play better

mostly it matters just how precise and accurate are your touches, and how fast you can get them. if the ball is in the air and you can get the touch you want when hitting it, like a soft touch you can follow or a hard touch where you want it to go. if you can get power and hit it with the corner consistently. this transfers to everything else, like air dribbles and etc so

if you want to be c3+ if there is a bounce and you have time you should be able to pop it and air dribble it to the net or set up a double tap. it’s much more useful than off the wall mechanics as you dont get a setup as often
