If u guys play together i would recommend that u try to stay very passiv and go for lots of powershots from behind. He should rather chase behind the ball and force out flicks that will make oyour life more easy. Thats how i play when i play wiht someone who is lower then me and it works alright. U will def not reach your peak that way tho

the dreaded word, consistency, but more so not clearing the ball straight at your oponent, you know what your supposed to be doing at c2 and the problem is you do bad things without thinking about it. mentally take excuses out of equation. like lucky pinch or bad touch, those need to not be happening as much anymore and there are things you can do to avoid/prevent those things from happening

when i say you i mean average c2, not you specifically

One of the best pieces of advice I got from an ssl was if your shots are predictable it’s because you were focusing on that shot. Take it off the wall and see your options then decide

This is really a tip for all ranks but control the ball as much as possible, there is no point in just booming the ball out for no reason (unless u are on zero)

you start seeing it more in gc champ seldom does it. essentially you going on the ground for a flick, lower levels drive straight at goal with ball on top of car, when you start incorporating bounce dribbles you have options for a catch flick, bang top corner, or pass out, but not fully committed to having to flick. in the air you want an air dribble , you get used to setting up flip resets, air dribbles, passes with the same touches off the wall, when you touch off wall and get that airdribble, say you were trying to get that shot in, sometimes it best to dime out to teammate cause their last man jump challenged you , say they stay back post so you get flip reset instead, what makes or breaks high level is the decision making

ive made it to gc2 just incorporating the fact that im forcing their team to challenge into me unfavorably, im not good mechanically speaking, but able to read the field understand what oponents are doing and what teammates are set up for got me farely far
