As I said before the physics equation S = vt where S is distance v is velocity and t is time. We want to reduce time as much as possible. There are two ways. Either increase velocity or decrease distance. You are capped at a velocity that's really easy to reach so it's better to reduce distance

To rank up specifically play more focus on your rotations and just try to master/get better at what you can do

Just practice double jumps and single jumps while you have control of the dribble

I think I just don’t fully have the muscle memory

I can play at plat level I’ve gotten there before

But after a while I just regress to like silver 3

You get the muscle memory by practicing the move a lot

I start just whiffing wall shots

And overall being brain dead on defense

If that's the case, keep refining your technique and watch your replays; then, reflect on what you can improve on in a reasonable manner

Right now silver 3 I was gold 2 in 2s but I started missing my aerial shots
