Creativity or just mechs? Some players I encounter have all of the above, while some seems to have the mechs of a plat and the gamesense of a demigod.

So to the point. What would be the difference between a c3 like me and a consistent GC? Anything in perticular I should practice or is it fully individual?

I mean to be honest, I think the biggest thing for me is awkward setups and getting used to the new meta. When I played back in the day, Demoing was like the 8th sin, literally. No one wanted to demo, now chasing is meta. Im getting used to it, hence why I am moving forward in the rank ladder, but sometimes I push myself harder than I can manage sometimes, which makes me either miss an easy shot, or try to go for a wonky setup because I try to make something out of a dead end situation.

Rotation & passing plays are not a problem. I used to be a ball chaser, but I've learned to trust teammates, however I do struggle with both ballchasing teammates and slow teammates. There's a lot of stuff you can practice when it comes to that, I know a lot of maps have dribbling courses. No idea how to start them on epic or bakkesmod since I play on steam, but either you can do that, or you can position the ball on top of your car and practice driving forward with it on the balance point of your car (The hood of octane for example), then you could start trying to catch the ball going side to side

Gochu gochu, if you wanna go with the dominus which is still good then go for it, dominus got stronger hitbox for flicks so works good in this scenario, so i would say work on flicks, just dribbles general trying to have the ball on top of your car as long as possible. I mean i get what you mean with, it being a bit more predictable than gold (diamonds are not predictable), but just bc someone is more predictable doesn't mean you know how to counter them. If you could counter them you wouldn't be gold unless somehow your counters only work on better players which wouldn't make much sense. The counter is maybe a better counter when you play against diamonds but that counter technique shouldn't disappear completely if the opponents dropped in skill, it will most probably just make the counter firstly easier and then probably a bit worse (worse as in the level of counter against diamonds)

the accuracy of c1s is very low so most of the time they won't be able to score unless you do a bad mistake, i think you can try to play passive?

in backpost position is easy to save 90% of their shots

i kinda have the similar problem. Whenever I play ranked which is c1 lobbies I have to play really slow because the whole lobby is slow but when I go into casual where my mmr is very high i play with c3 gc1 and I feel a lot faster and more decided when I challenge

C2 with 10k hours, at that point u gota have alota experience. Maybe focused on the wrong path and in need to go simpler then more complex overthink. Try to just watch squishy low rank to high rank plays. That should slowly be able to coach urself with the amount of experience you have

However with rank inflation in modern days, players are way better now then in 2023. So try to focus on ur mistakes that you see urself do alot and find ways to create consistentsy to it
