if u start to learn it i would recommend it without the dribble first. Try to line the ball up and then let it bounce, with the second bounce u jump with the ball, if u are in a similar speed u should get a good breezi or at least good tries. After u can do that i would add dribbles

first of all whats your rank? and how is your ability to fly?

Not just for plat but in general: play a bit more defensive, the majority of players are more offensive, so defensive playstyle is usllay better, look a lot around yourself and even if uthink u have the better position and see him coming, leave it, dont play to risky, in that elo players are not very good in 1v1 scenarios. PLay a bit more 1s to improve inididually. Even if ur mate is defensive and u need to be the more offensive player include some fake challanges to not leeave him alone. In general rotate more around the smaller pads to stay more in rotation. And most importantly: dont see mates as an excuse why u cant get higher

At first it will be very hard to use the shot effectivly cause u often try to get the reset, then transform into an air dribble and if someone challanges u, u can just flick it over u.
