Depends what u want to achieve.
Before going into doublke taps, resets etc. u need to be quite consistent with the basics of flying. Otherwise u make it very hard for yourself to learn theser things. IF u have a quite good air control start with air dribbles, once u get good with that double taps, at the end reset, in this order.
For your positioning issue i would say try to look around more, this also make your decision making better what to do in specific scenarios. U can force yourself if u play more casual without sound, then u need to look morre around to stop double commits. Passing is essentially not bad, but try to go for more safe passes where u are in a good rotation, otherwise it can cause issues.
Others then that play more 1s to improve individually and look at yourself and dont blame mates

For rapids it’s just a speedflip after the first reset. If the ball is already off the wall you can preflip into a reset. Otherwise just like a twist flip

Just don’t boost while flipping so you don’t hit the ball too hard

Hey quick question. I recently put a lot of time into having enough skill to get a flip reset very consistent. However I never really manage to make a good shot out of it. As someone who cares about the practical part about freestyling what should I learn to finish of the flip reset? Or is that something you decide out of the blue if you have enough skill?

you're not doing the flip reset correct if your flip doesn't put your car in a natural position to either tap or flick the ball, which then you'd either chose to continue air dribbling, or flicking into the goal or the wall for a rebound. just keep practicing.

flip resets are game sense based mechanics, it varies depending on the altitude ratio between you and the ball, the angle at which youre traversing to the ball, etc... its a mechanic you need to consistently practice, especially in real games where you dont have the advantage of setting it up the way you feel the most comfortable with. i dont need to review your clips, its most likely your initial flip reset touch doesnt land properly, which is not something you will learn over text anyway.
