Don't lose games. I know this is not directly helpful, but that's how you do it. If you play like [insert rank], you will get to [insert rank]. If you feel like you cannot stay in champ, in other words, you feel like don't play like (=as good as) champ 1, then you need to improve so that you can play like a champ. There you usually can start improving whatever you want, but generally it's best to prioritize your weaknesses.
Also, improving, i.e. doing new things, often comes with losing some MMR cause you have to get used to the new things. Don't worry about it too much. In the end, being champ or not being champ is just an icon above your name.

in champ you still need to work on the basic fundementals of the game rotations, shadow defense, fake chals, boost management, soft touches, and even more basic things like perfecting dribbles, getting a flick your confident with 100%, stop focusing on your teamate more than yourself, play ALOT more freeplay but dont play it mindlessly play it with a plan, focus on something different each time\something you really need to work out and not trying to go for super flashy things (unless) its your main goal in this game in which case his is not try not to get distracted from what others are doing (theres a lot more i can say but im too tired to type more of it out)
