firstly single flip resets are not important in champ, ceiling shots can be useful but they are definitly not important to the point were you need them, air dribbles can be useful if you do it right and can do them from different setups besides the wall but they aren't that important either, however back board clears can be useful in champ and they have use but its more of you not wanting to throw the ball away that far that many times

secondly it is probably not your mechs that are the problem

Absolutely. The most mechanical thing you need to work on right now is flicks and MAYBE jumping in the air for a Ariel shot. Just really really lock in on the basics. Also learn to defend really well. 9 times out of 10 you will win games off of defense and countering not over powering offense
