Just some tips

• stop forcing plays. like if a teammate has it, just let em go. patience > panic
• rotate wide and back post more. cutting too much messes everything up
• don’t overcommit. it’s better to be last back than get beat and leave net open
• mix up your speed. sometimes slowing it down throws the other team off
• work on fast recoveries. half flips, wavedashes, all that — being faster back helps a ton
• don’t chase demos unless it’s actually opening space
• use quick chats smart, like “I got it” or “need boost”, makes life easier

Don’t try and do that because you are only in diamond, what I want to see is you being able to stay calm while ur tm8 has it instead of coming in and just stealing the ball from them, make you you are in the right positions as a third man and being ready for the best outcome AND the worst outcome (your tm8 losing the ball putting you into a 1v2 situation)

if you really want coaching I recommend understanding the game itself cuz you cant play a game better if you dont understand it, If you're constantly missing the ball or cant shoot it properly you dont hit the right spot at the right timing so physically the ball would go the right way, Many people just naturally develop this over time but u can go out your way and practice shooting and bouncing predictions, How many times it happened where you want to redirect smth or double tap smth and u choke, And also I recommend to get 0 coaching advice until u hit champ and higher, Cuz thats where mistakes actually cost u games, In diamond or plat everyone messes up so if you just play safer you should be up on the score, Many people dont pay attention to car speed as well and their rotations, Your car moves faster the smaller movements you make it do, if you full turn right or left you are gonna be goin slower than if you send half input in that direction, Powerslide and air roll is one of the most important and used mechanic in the game and master that before anything else cuz everything else basically requires it, Then is where you move on to practicing defense and optimal moves to defend where to try to get the ball after the save, Learn flicking and team play if ur in 2s if u got a tm8 in front and u do a self setup instead of a bang to ur tm8 then ur bound to lose, use swivel get awareness, Remember all boost pads and pay attention to who takes big boosts and what rotations the opponents are playing all the time then you can find weak spots

Luke suggested holding the first jump for around 0.2 seconds, right? I also try to follow the Fireburner method by holding down tilt before I even jump too. But during that time if I keep holding tilt my car can point upwards before I can even use the second jump. But is that bad? Because the car is facing straight up by the time I press the second jump, it won't send me upwards a bit to the ceiling, rather it will just push me backwards?

Yes and no. Playing really weird makes it hard for your teammates to adapt to you, which in turn makes them more likely to make mistakes like double committing on you. Thats something to keep in mind when you want to play unconventionally with randoms.
