If you don’t wanna get beat to the ball you need to practice fast aerials and positioning for good aerials you shouldn’t be doing awkward jumps for a ball you’ll never beat someone to if you can’t 100% dust someone it’s not even worth jumping. Players can’t do anything threatening at that rank with the ball in the air I guarantee you if you rotate back post every aerial is a bang to sidewall or backboard and then it’s free for you

You can beat a lot of players by forcing them to give the ball up and capitalizing while they’re recovering

okay, used to stuggel with that to in gc1 then started to check where and when i got demoed and found out i played to straigt going and now its better

i’m only c3 but this method helped me go from c1 to c3 very quick, so it goes like this if your the first man do ANYTHING you can to touch the ball, score or make it hard for the opponent the start something, bump them hit the ball even a little bit. If u have little or no boost still try and hit the ball as long as you know ur not putting urself too far from the play. now if your second man and your tm8 is attacking on your opponents corner for example make sure the stay around half court and and in the middle so no stray balls go into ur net

From the front your only doing one direction, hard to turn, from the side your covering most of the spots they can go, although if your shadow defending it's going to be a bit hard to challenge from the side bc either you have to give up space the whole way to do that or do a quick turn at the end right before you challenge

It helps with 2 things. 1 is grabbing boost pads, and 2 is having awareness of how much boost you’re using when doing mechanics

Not necessarily with the boost management but the boost awareness

I’m a 1s main and I will say playing 1s is NOT how to practice boost management
