Im rarely champ but to get to d3 you should practice things like clearing the ball to where the opponents are awkward like the corner and what i have been trying to practice to get to champ is DIRECT passes and being in better positions to receive/give passes, getting the ball around opponents in the corners, speed kickoffs cos they can help a bunch when consistent, placement and control on touches based on where my opponents are, and not being backwards in net but that last one might just be me 😛

It has been a while since I was in plat so the general skill has most likely improved but I would say maybe redirecting kickoffs to a teamate, maybe flicks (idk if yall are consistent with that yet), definitely strong clears, boost management, and passing to your tm8 (maybe yourself but preferably not) bouncing off of your opponents' corners. sorry if i overestimated or underestimated plats

Hi all, I'm a returning player - been playing on switch 2. I've been practicing dribbling and flicks in free play and notice it's pretty hard to keep the ball on top of the car (no boost) without feathering the accelerator a heap. This is due to the triggers being digital I guess. Any switch players out there doing anything specific to overcome this or do you just have to deal with the feathering? post EDIT - afaik without doing anything pretty hacky the switch will treat any analogue triggers as digital

I don't play on the switch but I have had controllers with the same effect and I notice that the accuracy decrease of feathering versus semi-holding is not that bad. even people with normal controllers will feather also
