im lowkey tired of ranked 2s, i suck at 1s and 3s feels too crowded but i keep getting awful teammates in 2s. i got to plat 1 after grinding a bunch but then got put back to gold 3 because i kept getting teammates incapable of playing like a normal person.. one thing i hate is that anytime i criticize or call out my teammates mistakes they ALWAYS ask for a 1v1 because they think im trying to be toxic. what do i do here?? ive been stuck with this problem since the start of season and the teammates dont seem to be getting any better. and no, getting someone from #looking-for-group didnt help because the guy scored 2 own goals then ragequit and blamed me (and no im not trash and blaming it on my teammates i have plenty of proof on my ps5)

so you need to give easy passes
if they are good at receiving passes (some diamonds are some are not)
then they "will not miss the ball"
so "diamonds just miss the ball" is not rly good way to describe a whole bunch of ppl

Aerial control is just practice but first learn car control in the air without the ball and then do it with the ball and boost management, do more wave dashes and speed flips when you go around the field, pick up more boost pads, don't go for big boost so often, if you know a mechanic (let's say air dribble for example) then minimize your boost to the absolute minimum you need from trial and error to figure out what your limit is for a special mechanic and when your going for your big play you always want to have some boost to spare to get back so let's say you have 100 boost then when your done with your play (I am guessing your recoveries aren't the best) have at least like 15 to 20 boost left

My only advice to anyone want to get out of plat: you are the main defender. You may take long shots though, but never reach the last third. Practice how to save every shot and stop all kind of danger, stay back and don't rush the attack, wait until your teammates get Boost then try to give them the ball to start the attack.
This is about how to get out of plat, it's not about how to be a better player.
