work on your basic shooting, just putting the ball in the net above the ground. most people in gold aren't able to defend shots very well above the floor. it's difficult without gameplay to diagnose your issues, but work on the basics and you should be able to get to plat just fine.

im a c3, and i know im not higher or same level as but, but i sometimes feel the same way. Most often it is just the feeling of "being slower than the rest of the lobby" because at gc2+ people are really fast. One reason you may feel this way is you are a more defensive minded player, or you hesitate too much before going to the ball. Sometimes you dont even relize it, but you often make tiny split second hesitations that can make you 1 second late to the ball. If you can fix ythose hesitations, and if you are a more stratigical based player, try to play a little more agressive each game And i know im not higher rank than you, but i somtimes feel slow in my high champ lobbies too lol. hope this helps!

I felt like that for a long time aswell, in the same rank as you. You're probably really good at reading the play and your base mechanics are good, but not doing triple resets like your opponents, makes you doubt yourself.
if you got there by soloq, u deserve it. Just keep practicing what u feel that u lack (seems to be mechanics) and this season might be the one u hit ssl
