it's literally the same concept as in with normal aerials. When you want to change direction, you just adjust and then you go in that direction. On constant air rolling, when you want to change direction, stop for a second, have the nose of the car in the direction you want to go, tilt backwards ( or forwards, to adjust height ) and then start spinning again. It will probably help you at the beginning

that's how you start before you get to more advanced variations

It's not necessarily all things I can just "work on" in training, for example it can be as simple as holding onto a 2 goal lead which I can struggle with

Look if you are let’s say a champ player in a silver lobby you will just win without breaking a sweat, but if you have a gc3 playing in a mid ssl lobby chances are that they will do decently, because the main things they need to think about is game sense, with a silver player their main focus is learning how to actually play the game and hit the ball, game sense is not a thing in lower ranks because simply they can’t understand the game until they know how to hit the ball properly

Thats 1. stay defensive, the majority chases behind the ball so its good to stay a bit more back and 2. get better with powershots from behind. These 2 things will get u higher. But obv its also good to play diffrently then that to improve overall and get into the game. SO i would recommend play ranked the way i told u, but also play lots of casual to improve overall

Yeah, Im trying to play defensive but that's not my strength. I make the mistake to become slower and slower and sometimes even stop. Generally, when my opponent comes closer to my goal I become uncertain about where I should be on the field.

When u stay in goal u dont have much time to react when the opponent comes closer, this is why this doesnt work there

Shawyer. Coaching someone is a nice act, especially if it's for free. Even when I play with my friend I give him tips when I see that he makes the same mistakes repeatedly. A Coach doesn't need to have the highest rank in rocket league to be a good coach. It has it pros if the coach is lower ranked since that one for example remembers what he struggled with and what helped him.

that depends on you, you can get even ssl without learning one, but chances are nope. If you learn them, you need to do something meaningful with them

a diamond, champ, gc, and ssl score a reset very differently in terms of efficiency

i am not sure how consistent you are with it, but the main difference between gc1 and champ is mostly boost management with mini pads and catching the ball instead of playing volleyball

if u can do it, then you should be able to rank up
