In 1v1s yeah it feels like that sometimes, but that's not always the case. Almost everyone is a higher rank in other modes, 1s is harder partly because of that, a plat in 1s could be way higher in a different mode

I've seen a champ from 2s playing in gold in 1s before so it's just something you have to deal with

If you can pull them off resets, can delay them or take advantage if the other guy jumps too early. A lot of higher ranked players will wait or expect the double taps from what I've seen and unless you are close to the wall they can be blocked pretty easy.

You can pull back so when the front tires lose grip it pulls away faster, slowing down seems to work a little, and you could use a first jump which gives you a good bit of momentum towards the way down depending how long you hold it. But if you use first jump you lose the extra time for the second but I'm sure u knew that

For silver 2s kind of the same thing I told the other person. Also work on simple aerials and making good contact when the ball is on the wall, not trying to make superfar goals but getting it in that direction, the other teams will still miss a lot of stuff so it should get a few goals a game. A simple shot from there on net can push the game in your favor

Pretty much for any player under diamond the training packs will be your friend. There's a good few that will be too hard for you but if you actually work on the ones you can do until you get 100% regularly you will rank up before you know it.
This game really does make you put in the time there is no simple answer to how to get better fast

Ah ok so do any of them that are rookie or pro difficulty or the other difficulties descriptions from bronze up to plat. Some of them are really basic and easy but good practice for consistency, others will be harder and take multiple tries or getting creative. I'd reccomend mostly ones for striking and only need a couple of defense ones that you like. Wall shots ground dribbles powershots simple aerials. I don't have my game open rn or I'd be more specific for which ones

You don't need to do them for hours everyday but do like at least 15 minutes on them when you can

Some ppl get good real fast but for most ppl yes it can take some time to really be good at the game

The average person doesn't learn those fancy shots in minutes but lots of hours and practicing them nonstop

If you can build the basic skills from the training packs and do a little bit of learning game sense from good/high rank players you can move up a good bit. I'd say platinum is kind of like the average where ppl still make a lot of mistakes but end up at if they can hit the ball and make simple jumps.

Once you hit diamond and above that's where it takes loads of time and really working on how you play and control your car.

Tips for climbing plat and what to work on?

Start fixing rotation and making good choices about how you hit the ball not just banging it away. Keeping car momentum and recovering/landing on wheels, have to start building your speed. Shooting accuracy, and start building your defense don't rely on only team mates to cover net. That about covers it

To get plat work on your speed and always landing on wheels and trying to keep momentum. And start working on your touches and shots. Don't just bang it away but controlling them

Actually they do since they had the courage to ask for help instead of being stubborn or just giving up. It takes an extremely weak person to go after ppl who want help. Talk about insecure ppl who think RL makes them important.

Easy ignore them, that isn't someone asking for help that's somebody blaming others they aren't better

And most of them are just frustrated, so many games are easy to just pick up and cheat or meta, they can't do that here so they get mad an want to blame somebody

I haven't really tried rank since an almost 3 year break. I peaked champ solo q in 2s and gc1 with a team but they were better than me for sure I shouldn't have gotten those rewards
