practice fast aerial and check your dodge deadzone with some settings tutorials, for getting beat in the air use air roll to keep your nose pointed in the direction of the ball most of the flight, using fast aerial jump, plus that direction control is usually the fastest way to get there, if you still get beat then adjust your judgement of when you can or cant jump and beat them
