it's simple: train ball and car control and you did most of it to improve, then, if you play solo in 2s for example, make sure to learn how to defend very well, because in most cases you'll end up with aggressive teammates, beside selfish ones that will always leave the net open. that's what i am doing to get to gc2 and it's working pretty well

Freeplay. first thing to learn is how to aereal without the ball, meaning, air roll and so on. get in freeplay or ring workshop maps and start practicing air roll left or right (i can only do one side and a little on the other, which is not a problem at all as long as you learn one side of air roll. after that, second thing to learn is to dribble the ball on top of your car, so, get the ball on your car and keep it there while you drive around. After you learn to dribble on your head pretty comfortably, you can start shooting the ball here and there while you follow it and practice speed and meaningful touches, instead of chaotic touches that give the ball away (which may happen, but not as frequent once you practice) uh... that's a lot, a poem
