on the real what you need is better shooting the biggest difference is shooting power and accuracy. do ground shot powershot like bounce dribble, or ground to air dribble. if can carry do it and just double jump under the ball. go for more off the ball plays like bumps while on the rotate. since people in diamond ego chall it's useless to do off the wall, if against ballchaser you just have to expect it and beat them to the ball or else you will get dunked on 50s.

on defense vs mechanical players use more jumping off the backboard or ceiling and challenging them in the air

the secret to power and accuracy is not how fast you go but more how and where you hit the ball. make sure you hit it with corner of your car like every time, do flip cancel or speedflip motion for shot. on ground hit it as it's bouncing up. pay more attention to where you are hitting it, like if you are hitting it crossbar/too high, just hit it more center or above the ball. if you want to get height, hit underside, etc.

for speedflip it's not normal flip cancel so make sure you are doing it right. i flip right barely around 1 o'clock, then immediately move the stick to the left and cancel to bottom right. i air roll right the entire time basically. just make sure you spam the jump on flip and you are moving the stick instantly.

1. make sure good settings copy pro or watch video 2. if the ball awkward or you're not sure always leave fast and go around behind your team 3. careful of corner basically never go unless you're alone, cause the bounce are too hard to read 4. when attacking be ready to land correctly with powerslide and immediately get back behind 5. make sure to grab boost pads small and big, steal from enemy team when you can. remember you can boost to the large boost because you will get it back anyways. 6. careful not to flip so much as it commits you, hard to recover and easy for enemy team to get past

watch opponents cars as it's easier to tell what will happen, if they are pushing the ball you can challenge, if the ball is bouncing or on top or on wall don't go instead drive up turn around to fake them and then try to cut them off either taking the ball or forcing them to hit it away where your team can grab. as the second man wait for your teammate to do that patiently and grab the ball.

its probably you trying to compensate for a bad setup with a weird flip and over rotating your car. a fantastic drill for getting consistent with double resets in my opinion is practicing ceiling shot resets. they have more consistent setups than double resets and will teach you the different amount of cancelling you need for the ball at different heights.

• Dont blame your tm8s
• Look over replays after doing bad and see what you need to improve on
• Warm up before comp using freeplay. Casual is a waste of time mostly
• Use Freeplay for mechanics that are useful like bounce dribbles and flicks (not air dribbles and flip resets)
• Learn how to rotate using a video or something online

Yes they would be very usefull but if you dont know how to or dont have the time to learn it then just do a diagonal flip to the ball and then single jump into it. Try to do kickoffs where you single jump into the center of the ball and try not to flip

Yeah I get afk tm8s as well but that doesnt happen every match. even if it does you are in plat so you could improve in other game modes like 1v1 and 3v3 and then go back and just 1v2 the opponents in plat after getting better.

well I’ve played in d3 and got 1k+ plus points and average 500 and when I play 2s I rely on my tm8s and it should be 50/50 work not me 1v2ing
