all a zap dash is landing your speedflip on front wheel first then wavedashing at correct time

a speed flip the easiest way to do it is to bind directional air roll and have it held down whilst you do a diagnol flip cancel in the direction of that air roll

so right air roll = diagnol flip cancel from top right corner to bottom left

That is atleast how i would do it

Hold a directional air roll (left/right) and frontflip cancel. My stick movement tends to be an INSTANT front flip cancel, hold the cancel for a bit (hold down), then flick the stick back up briefly so your nose doesn’t dig into the floor. Bang, speedflip

Directional air roll method makes them super easy and very consistent

Only adjust or air roll when you need too, the more you air roll the more you have to adjust. Making it harder than it should be. Watch a7md or any other mechanical 2k player and you can get some what of an idea. Keep it simple.

Try not to overcommit to anything, and try to capitalize on your opponents mistakes. They'll make a lot of mistakes in Gold, so if you can do something with even half of those mistakes you'll be scoring plenty of goals 😄

You sound like you're scoring a lot, maybe practice defense to keep some of those balls out of your net? There's a great training pack called 'Saves' that I like to hop into that has a ton of crazy and uncomftorable saves. You'll need to go into the air to save some of them too though, so it might be pretty hard.

Ok this is gonna sound like the dumbest thing, but I need someone like 2-3 ranks higher than me to party up with - not for a carry per se, but more so for me to be able to learn the speed of lobbies. I've been hardstuck C1 forever and I feel like I just can't get the feel for the speed - I try to play fast but then I get accused of ball chasing and when I slow down the weird hesitations and inconsistent speed the lobby is is so weird. Okay, but this is a C1 trying to play in the C3 lobbies, so not as simple as just saying that just because you’re SSL.

I've noticed it's alot of speed tho - I play in casual lobbies against GC's and their overall speed is miles ahead - I feel I could match it but it's hard in my rank lobbies where people are inconsistent and much slower, I feel like I just need to ignore alot of what's going on and just blast thru everyone

people be brake checking all the time and missing balls and whatnot
