• try work on ball control and positioning w low boost on defence, sometimes on low boost you can take touches which leave you in a very awkward position, or you push to your front post when you really dont need to
• try pick up 12 pads rather than 100 boosts when youre on high boost, as youre giving your opponent way too much space sometimes
• try to stop panic jumping when they have no chance of scoring - sometimes you just jump or backflip when you have a lot more time and space than you think, might be worth using ur camera a little more if youre struggling to notice how much space you have on defence
• go backboard for defence sometimes, you dont have to stay on the ground on every aerial shot
• chuck in a fake challenge every now and then when you know your opponent is low boost and panicing, you make your challenges way too predictable sometimes, and its easily readable for your opponents and lets them get out of awkward positions

you are clearly a very good player, its just the game sense on defence which needs a bit of an improvement, that already looks very high skilled for a c1 1s lobby, if you practice your defence + ball control you can definitely get very high in 1s

position to the side of your teammate rather than right behind them, focus on awareness and think about whos ball it is, try avoid cutting your teammate when he has a free wall, and try keep possession rather than booming the ball, unless youre planning to boom it to your teammate

if youre aware on whats going on its a lot easier to be a better teammate, and if youre in the correct positions, you have a lot more options to make yourself a better teammate

Okay okay, so what I would advice yes it is good to learn aerials/fast aerials etc. but work on your core mechanics. Such as power shots, back board defence, ground dribbles, flicks and that lot. Don’t only work on them but try to work on your game sense and rotations. you could get to champion with the bad mechanics but with good game sense. I didn’t even learn how to air dribble and other harder mechs and now I’m champ 2

For the beginning, go into free play and fly into the air and go to the other goal. Keep doing it back and forth. Make sure you start learning dynamic air roll (you hold a button so you can make adjustments in the air) when you get that down. Start going around the map along the edges in the air

how do i stop myself from smashing my controller against the wall while trying to learn directional air roll

• dont unnecessarily dive at the ball when your teammate has a 50, wait to see where the ball goes after the 50 rather than diving it before the 50 happens
• dont overuse mechanics, you are sometimes jumping around the pitch for no reason or walldashing when you can be picking up 12pads
• dont flip around the pitch as much, it commits you in a direction and means you are left out of the play a lot
• position to the side of your teammates rather than directly behind or under them, as you want to go for the ball once a 50 occurs or if the ball is hit off the backboard
• get 12pads rather than 100s sometimes, as you are flipping to get 100s and leading to you getting scored on as youve overcommited in a direction when you dont need to go
• dont go up the sidewall as much to challange plays not near you, sometimes you are going up to the ceiling for no reason whatsoever to challenge a ball which you wont ever win from that position
• give your teammate more space, as you are cutting him on most attacks, even when you know where he is
• be more patient on defence, you are diving at like every ball in their half when its not needed

you can definitely get really high, pretty much everything right now is game sense related, the main thing is patience and giving your teammate space aswell as not overusing mechanics when you dont need to
