You can’t control what they do, only go for a dribble if they’re giving you space to. When they do go to challenge you, that’s when you flick or fake. Be observant, pay attention to their movement and distance. They have to challenge you before the semi-circle by their goal or when you lose full control (when you’re moving your car side to side and uncomfortable).

When you flick the ball, try and catch it again to keep dribbling, but yeah be mindful of when their car might recover, kind of make a prediction for yourself so you have a rough idea of when to flick again or pass to a teammate.

Ok now’s a great time to pick a directional air roll to learn, left or right. I personally use left, but it varies among players (doesn’t really matter which you pick). Speed flipping can be made veeeeeery easy by holding your preferred directional air roll, and simply doing a front flip cancel motion with your joystick. It works because the directional air roll being held + a front flip = a perfect diagonal flip.

Im a decent enough ground player but the air is a horrible place for me. So im trying to do a mix rn from ground to air dribbles but i wonder if theres something else i should do first.

going from a ground dribble to an air dribble is difficult, i would reccomend getting comfortable in the air, there are lots of air training packs or even learning wall air dribbles first. generally after that going from ground to air dribble is easier, if i understood you correct.

Yeah for some reason on the wall i cant turn around to hit the ball correctly to start a air dribble or even just a touch sometimes. But i defo need to practice that too for when i get to a higher rank hhhh

Yea so off the wall can be difficult, generally the way you will improve most is with the touch you set the dribble up with, to me that is the most important part of the dribble a good setup will improve your odds heavily.

start trying to score em with minimal rotations and maybe start at a goal of one air touch

and work your way up to several

need freestyle tips, how do you get flip resets/use flips in general without being awkward? Getting the reset on the way up is doable but i just cant seem to find my way after getting it

Depends! You might have shadowplay if you have NVIDIA hardware, otherwise you can use something like gif your game, medal, or outplayed.
