A fun way of training this is through heatseeker, just keep saving the ball backwards. The curve of the heatseeker ball will also make you go left and right while backwards at different heights.

for me its the same but with changing from both directionals to 1 directional and free air roll for the other side

but its almost impossible for me to change

i use air roll right only sometimes but like for little adjustments in the air and to change to free air roll for that is so hard

its so hard in my muscle memory without and when I change now its like learning every mechanic completely new

if u are plat there are 2 important things. in PLat the majority chases. 1. STay in general more passive and dont go too much infront. 2. for offense u need to get better with good powershots from various angles from behind, in plat they overstay so u will have good opportunities without much risk

i can just say it in general cause i dont know how u play or what ur issues are: dont play too risky, play more 1s to improve individually, more bumps while rotating back so u get less pressured without much risk, rotate more around the small pads to stay more in rotation, look more around u to make your decision making better, dont blame mates and look more at yourself

There's nothing wrong with learning shadow defence at your rank, there isn't rank restrictions on mechanics. But it shouldn't be a big priority either - but if you're wanting to learn it, there's definitely no harm in it.

it’s really not hard, just watch a tutorial on youtube and practice the steps, but it’s just more mechanical so in order to do air dribbles consistently you have to master the basics such as hitting the ball up the wall, hitting it off the wall, when to jump, how to jump, when to boost etc
